Red Hat Install Question

Trying to install red hat 9.0 on a spare PC..

I keep getting a "fatal error" during install on different packages causing me to have to abort the installation.

Is there a way to continue the install where it left off previously? It is a real pain in the ass having to start over each time.

nope, as far as i know you can't resume the installation... :(

You must have forgotten to get your license from SCO. :(

That blows..

The last install I got to 20 packages remaining and it crashed on a font package... :feels-hot

I have done the media check.. PASS

Installed a newer CD player ..

Reburned the images..

Screw it

I have a trial license that I use.. Simply have to answer a few questions each month to extend membership.

The images were downloaded from Red Hat BTW

It was a joke, for now, unless SCO get's their way in court.

you'd better reinstall with FreeBSD.

Red Hat is not SCO. SCO is sueing a bunch of companies over Unix, they bought it from Novell or Bell Labs, claim Red Hat, IBM and a bunch of other companies are using Unix source they bought, go do a search, I forget the complete story, but it looks like some companies and people will be paying SCO. Get your credit Card out.:Graucho
