It's time to KO Acacia (in one swing)

There seems to be a movement in the works involving people who have simply had enough of Acacia.

I see words like Boycott and Fight, a sign that the young and brave have awoken.

.....THIS IS YOUR MANIFEST.... DO IT and it's a matter of weeks...they will not survive.

There are two conditions that exist at the moment that offer a door of opportunity for you to KO Acacia.

1. Homegrown has them on the ropes

2. Mom and Dads of America ain't happy about their children losing their right to privacy so the Record Industry can sue them for trading music online...
(that's some sad shit man....)

The most powerful weapon this industry has is the power to mass communicate at the speed of light around the world.

The reason you haven't done so is because you thought one of the big guys would do it or just do something.

They did....some went that way and some went the other way.

Homegrown went the way that best served your interest but you have to understand that they cannot make the courts move any faster than they go and Acacia will continue to make some of the unlucky people very unhappy.

And guys like Fantasyman that went the other way....and now some of you are talking boycott and this will gain you nothing in the end because you are focusing your energy on a Pon instead of the King.

Take a moment and think about what Acacia has been doing lately....they've been using a weapon that they know will cause fear and anger in the industry that will divide you and keep you from coming together.

Did you guess the MEDIA as in AVN. They've been beating the piss out of you with it lately....so it's time to end this nonsense and knock'em the fuck out or else by the time this over most of you won't be here.

-----------SO HERE YOU GO --------------

1- someone get to the Acacia site and d/l the photo of the CEO and Pres.--do it now or it won't be there after Acacia reads this....

2 - need a domain name - W/o the name of Acacia or anything related to porn in it....a grass roots type of name you know the world against them kind of thing.

3 - color theme red/white/blue with flags that represent every country mixed in nicely.

4- Get one of the writers (a good one)
from one of the WM boards like Frogs.

5- Collect all the info available on Acacia patent and present in a way
that is easy to get the meat of it --shock value! Also someone who got served scan the parts where they want a % of gross , access to books etc... minus anything that leads back to U.

6 - Also very important to have an email script that makes it easy to fire off an email to senators and congress YES that means go get that info and have it with the script...this goes on
the index page.

7 - This is only for the US, 4N follows
OPERATION SPAMMER HAMMER 8-)
EMAIL
Agian have someone good write copy
like this (sort of) DO NOT GET NASTY
--------------------------------------
Remember Enron and the others ...Corporations raping tax payers.

Our law makers just recently took away our right to privacy so
Corporations in the billion dollar Record Industry could sue our children for trading music....

Sure it's all about Money and Greed but we let them do it......

Please take a few moments and follow the link below and read what's
happening to our internet....before it becomes the corporate internet
and every click we make will cost us more money and less freedom.

Link.............................................. .................

Not good news is it...

If you care about the Internet...If the freedom of your choice means
anything to you...Please take a moment and send your Senator and
Congressman a note and tell them you will do everything within your
ability to see to it that this term in office will be the last if they don't
wake up and put a stop to what Acacia is doing, it's wrong and illegal.

-----------------------------------------------
SPAM AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN--
ONLY ONCE! ALSO SPAM THE MEDIA
------------------------------------------------

For 4N in every country

You are going to play on the Bully factor....like so:

Tell people that your government has sold out to America and are going to allow Acacia the power to sue them if they don't pay ransom etc etc... you know what I mean .....

DON'T OVER DO IT......

-------------------------------------------

If you guys would just DO THIS all will be done with.

Acacia isn't sueing this industry because you make more money than anyone else .... that's bullshit.

They are sueing you because this industry provides a high degree of concealment from the mainstream so they can get away with stealing your
fucking socks. And don't think for one second that the impression that you guys and gals are at best ..CHUMPS
didn't play a big part in why they came.

-----------ITS UP TO YOU NOW------------
you can't sit around and talk about doing something nothing will get done.

Acacia thinks all of you are nothing but a bunch chickens who are afraid of your own shadow.

Talk is Cheap ....Kick their ASS!

*** Once you get this going someone should start planning a big victory party... I will come introduce myself and we will celebrate....

--------------LAST THING--------------
DO NOT INVOLVE ANYONE CONNECTED TO ANY COMPANY IN LITIGATION.... IT BEST NOT TO MAKE ANY REFERENCE TO PORN ....UNLESS YOU CAN PRESENT IN WAY THAT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE THEY WANT TO GAIN CONTROL OF PORN SO IT'S EASIER TO take THE REST... maybe....be careful though!

Mr.Fiction 07-27-2003 06:12 AM

Funny post.

How about sending out a press release to the Christian Coalition, American Family Association, and other religious groups telling them how Acacia is working with "pornographers". :1orglaugh

Project-Shadow 07-27-2003 06:34 AM

Bump for good measure

Mutt 07-27-2003 06:41 AM

moron. unbelievable ........ how delusional do you have to be to believe ANYBODY, let alone a congressman or senator, would give a rat's ass about pornographers being sued for copyright infringement.

as for college students getting sued for trading copyrighted music, that's right, it's against the law and Washington is giving the entertainment business the go ahead to do whatever it takes to protect their business.

who told you the Internet was some cyber playground where the laws of the land don't apply?

Sounds like a decent plan, but as for no. 2 above... It might be difficult for an adult paysite webmaster or designer to use this as a 'bad thing' ..

Saying that people should be able to trade copyrighted material as is with the music, would be saying that it's ok for people to trade pics and videos found in the member areas of their paysites... and is ok to help yourself to a neat site design you want to use.
In these cases, businesses and individuals are/would be losing money from work that has been produced and made for sale.

Acacia isn't losing a cent from anything they have produced and made for sale because they produce nothing, nor do they sell anything.

You are 100% correct that this situation needs to be put out there and put out there fast... to as many people as can be reached. and the powers that be need to have it shoved in their faces so they will realize what is going on and do something to fix it.

But to try to destroy a useful law such as copyright law to stop some of these ridiculous patents might just make matters worse.

Don't get me wrong.. I think it's a bit stupid to have some 13 year old kid get served with a lawsuit because he downloaded a few songs, but this just falls back on the parents' need to educated themselves on what's going on with their kids net activities.

Another VERY important thing that needs to be done is to change the law to prevent the sale of patents.. These things were designed to protect an inventor and that which he/she invented. But once sold, this is no longer the case, and they then become nothing more than a device to make money.

It's bogus patent infringement, not copyright.

The thread starter is probably on drugs judging by the post, but people will care what is happening if it's going to cost them money or if they believe that it will stop the from watching movies or listening to audio online.

If you don't think the public cares about being able to watch video and listen to audio online, it's you who are "delusional". :)

cash69 07-27-2003 06:47 AM

that's kinda a good idea.. if there's 10,000 - 20,000 webmasters... and each one of them sends 1 email to [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] and a few others.. send an email every day non stop every day until they answer you.. you cannot ignore something like that..

Imagine if those 20,000 webmasters all sent a donation to the IMPA's legal fund? Now THAT would create some hard-hitting power.

All webmasters need to do is donate: http://www.impai.org/

Sobe needs to give us some legal advice on how to beat Acacia. Maybe Homegrown can hire him for the case. :1orglaugh

Acacia isn't a problem. There is stuff on them that will sway any court, so start working up your owned pics.

One juror overheard saying to another..."You'll notice that neither the prosecutor or defense attorney swore to tell the truth!"
