Vegas residents: tints on your car?
 

Hey there, I'm going to be moving to Vegas in a few weeks and I wanted to know about the regulations as far as having tints on your Car windows... I live in Michigan as of now and we're allowed to have tints on the back windows, but it's regulated to only like 10 or 15% on the driver/passenger side window, and hardly any on the windshield, i'm not even sure the percentage (probably none, heh)...

Does anyone know the % that you're allowed to have tints on your driver/passenger window and windshield in Nevada?

Do the cops even care/pull you over for that shit in Vegas? The cops here pull us over all the time for that bullshit, usually first comes a warning, and force you to get rid of them, or go to a less tint..

If anyone has any info. I would appreciate it!

? Windshields may be tinted only within a few inches of the top, varying from window to window according to the manufacturer;

? Windows to the right and left of the driver may be tinted with nonreflective film that allows at least 35 percent of light to pass through;

? Rear windows may be tinted as dark as one wishes, if the car has side mirrors.

lol, yeah i would like to get limo tints, a few of my friends do and just get doctors notes, but i really don't want to be pulled over much in vegas, where did you live when you were 18 ?

you NEED tinted windows here, otherwise its hard for the air conditioner to keep up when you're in traffic, its 115 degrees and you go that greenhouse effect going on

Yeah I agree! Just visited a couple weeks ago and it was hot/sunny as fuck, but very nice at night

35% of light passing through on the driver/passenger window isn't too bad, but kind of annoying about the windshield, i think the windshield laws are the same most everywhere.. i still will prolly get the windshield tinted anyway, i'm just wondering if the cops highly enforce it there.... i guess i'll find out!

but here in louisiana, 35% is the darkest legal
