Investing in Acacia - Just wrong??
 

I've made a healthy return on my cash though invesing in the past, so I like to think I know a good investment oppritunity when I see it.

The SAD fact is, Acacia could become a multi-billion dollor company overnight.

Their stock is only $1.70 a share...

I could buy a few thousand shares, and set them to auto-sell if it hits lower than like $1.30..... super low risk.

BUT I feel so torn on this one.... its like betting against myself.

On the other hand, if they win... I'll pay their licensising fees with the stock money they gave me.

Any opinions?

Like I said, that doesnt matter.

If I set it to auto-sell if it goes lower than 1.30, i'd be losing only 40cents a share, i'll survive.

technically any smart gambler hedges their bets.

whether you have a moral obligation or not money is money, but you'd be buying up for the wrong reasons.

i simply feel they are going to lose and these patents are pretty much the only thing that acacia has going for them. i don't think they really have anything that a larger company would benefit from aquiring them.

Since you're even considering means that you have already lost faith in IMPAI and the adult industry as a whole. That's really too bad.

i know a few folks that own acacia stock. kind of sad.

you know if enough people owned enough of the stock, they could form a takeover.

FM did, why should everyone else??

there stock will continue to be worthless. Lets say they win this first case somehow. Paid off judge or something. Then there will be appeals etc, and the way courts move it will take months.

And then once they go after anyone with money like a CNN and their high powered attornies, it will drain them and it will be tied up in the courts a long time.

I think you would be better off shorting the stock. It sounds like Acacia is more than likely going to lose in court and if you short the stock, you could come out looking pretty.

Shorting the stock may work. Wait until Monday.

X...it's 100% legal for you to buy their stock just like its 100% legal for anyone to shun you for life if you did. Sounds like you didn't do your homework very well on human nature.

... I think it´s worth the risk, why not put 50K into their stock ... if they win you will turn that into a million. if they lose you can still sell out at $1 ... I think the odds looks good and ACACIA has enough cash in hands to go all the way ...

not to forget, the money ACACIA will make of the porn guys is peanuts compared to what they will make on mainstream ...

wonder how much FM paid, thankfully their next financial report will show ... I don´t expect too much though ...

All the money in the world wont matter if somebody somewhere on the planet published an article explaining what they are claiming.

Eh, i'll decide when their earnings report comes out.

I agree it probably won't look good because of all the legal fees they are currently paying.
