Buymusic.com is such a piece of shit.

They were all excited to tell everyone in their dubmass commercials and on the site how you can get songs for .79 but a look at their top 100 songs downloaded and you'll find that only one of them is available for .79 cents and many of them are $1.29. Not to mention they give you virtually no digital rights or privileges. Then today they started blocking access for mac users :1orglaugh , if a mac user visits the site it quickly refreshes to say that you must be on Windows using IE to access the site. Just even accessing the site not buying :1orglaugh

They don't take Netscape users either...

and it figures, the songs I want, they don't have

FUCKING USELESS!

Well the first one was before they launched, just discussing what it might be like. This one is after they launched detailing how they really suck.

Sounds like they are real quality :2 cents:

Hey
It's a brand new service. Give them a break.
Already bought $50 worth of music on it.
It's good, you don't have to buy a whole album anymore, just the songs you like.
I was waiting for this since when you have PC you can't use the apple version, so don't feel too bad you can't use your Mac on it :)
AS for netscape, well, it's almost dead, so why bother with it anymore?
:2 cents:

True, but unfortunately, Netscape is about as dead as globill. So, enjoy it while it lasts :)

This is a tired and pretty fucking lame routine Netscape users have been spouting off for years...

I've still, after all these years of surfing sites, and hundreds of emails a day, never had either of those things happen.

They should grow very quick. The music biz and apple go back a long way. In fact, I have seen only one pc in my 15 years of working in studios all over the world. Im almost sure that relationship is what got apple deals with the major labels to get this store going in the first place.

Supposedly the privileges that the Apple Music store got such as cd buring, use on multiple computers and use on mp3 players was arranged by Steve Jobs himself and or due to his personal input on it. That is what buymusic is missing, they don't allow you to do anything with their music almost.
