With the current situation in CC processing for the adult businesses and the easily forseeable future i think one thing is clear ------ > Soon dialers will rule the biz (and that is not necessarily a bad thing IMHO)

As for dialers, we'll probably see an increase but alternatives are always around the corner. When the demand grows, SMS and CC alternatives might soon take over

U.S. sufers hate dialers. More likely we'll end up with something likes tokensystems.com. The surfer buys a bunch of tokens and they can use them to gain access to any sites on the link list. The sites get a percentage of each token.

True, i was actually thinking of all alternatives, not only dialers. Anyways I think that loosing CC processing will do more good than bad to this biz...

I'll have to disagree with you on this matter. What are you trying to say, people will stop being horny just because they cannot get porn unless they use a dialer?

One thing that most probably will happen will be the decrease of dialer fees.

if paysites would offer multi-language join options and SMS billing would be allowed worlwide ( althought that's hard to coordinate ), you'd see a 1:10 ratio for polish surfers ( for SMS access ).
But they won't use dialers anymore.
Local polish adult webmasters were cheating polish surfers and those who downloaded the dialers ended sometimes with $500 + phone bills ( average salaery $400-500 ).

BTW, speaking about dialers, I've heard that the new dialers can be used for a flat fee..., not per minute. I'm not sure if that's true and how would it work... :helpme

I agree with you fully. Sales from eastern european (asian etc.) countries would be over the roof + there would be virtualy no fraud possibilities

Broadband penetration is rising quickly... dialers won't help there.

that's only for the US, right ?
