an important notice to my affiliates (re globill)
 

yay. just what i wanted to wake up to today. i felt something was fishy over the last couple of days, but didn't expect this. the $750 fee would have been no problem, but a total freeze was not what i had planned for.

silly me.

at this time please remove all affiliate links to my amateur website. i am going to have to reroute this traffic to an alternate processor and i do not want to be screwing anyone out of any money. globill has locked out their admin area so i am unable to email my affiliates directly to address this issue.

there has been a statement issued by Globill concerning their current issued checks being NSF. if you are owed money through my affiliate program please contact me directly, i will be cutting personal checks to any of my affiliates not being paid by globill.

i will be replacing globill with another processor for my partner program as soon as humanly fucking possible, my sincerest apologies to all of my partners.

if you have any comments or concerns do not hesitate to contact me, i will make a formal announcement when i have a suitable globill replacement in place.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear you got screwed. I was thinking of using Globill myself and I'm SO glad my site got delayed. I will probably be choosing CCBill now.

I have to say, this is the way to do business, though. This is very professional of you and I must say I have to give you utmost respect for being willing to pay your partners out of your own pocket. Way to go! :thumbsup

my affiliates made a partnership with me, not globill. i promised to pay them a percentage of sign ups and that's what i intend to do.

as we speak i am looking at Epoch and CCBill.

I have been using ccbill for 5 years for my sites and have had no problems... We also have a back up processor, and this is something that you may want to consider, since a lot of people got screwed.

I know that CCBILL has a rep that hits this board some times. His user name is corvett I think. If you have questions call the company, they are great..

I know that Kimmykim worked for them for some time, and she may aslo be able to help ( maybe give you the name of a sales rep or something ), but the best thing to do is call them.

I also heard that they are working on a canadian ccbill program. if you are in canada, and search the threads, you should find it.

p00p: honestly, personal comments aside, i used globill as they came highly recommended to me. i have already paid ibill the visa fee as of last year and am currently setting up with ccbill, again paying the visa fee. my affiliate program should be back online within 24-48 hours.

It's her fault for having these problems for using them. 0 sympathy for moronic "business" decisions especially when they affect others, such as her affiliates. Who apparently trusted her enough to push her site.

Bottom line. If you run a partner program, your decisions affect those who sign up for it, and promote it. These people trust you, and trust your decisions. You broke that trust by making a terrible business decision, and a decision that anyone with common sense would not have made.

as i said, people were speaking highly of globill, they paid on time etc etc. my affiliate program with them had only been up a short time. i was not experimenting, i was trying to pin down a processor most compatible with everyone. i hope ccbill fills that bill. no pun intended.
