ive seen it talked about but i have yet to see a 100% answer. does anyone know FOR SURE that if you process with 2 billing companies weather they add up all sales from both companies and all chargebacks from both companies and get the percentage from that, or does each processor stay under 1%. please only answer if you know FOR SURE... as this been bothering me a while now.
Thanks

There are only two companies that could know for sure and I'd bet even they don't know.

Here is my understanding

MasterCard: You are not the merchant, the IPSP is the merchant so the entire 1% issue is their entire portfolio not just your site. Therefore you could have 10% CB and be ok, but the IPSP would probably terminate your account.

VISA: They are looking at your business or site across all sources and will aggregate. So if you have 1000 ccbill transaction at .5% and 2000 Ibill at 2% you will be in trouble with Visa.

That si my reading of the Rosetta stone.
