No Extortion by IMPA here
RE:
http://www.avn.com/index.php?Primar...ontent_ID=34590 [begin quote] "Goldberg also rejected Acacia's now-formal accusation that the IMPA members pushed at least three named adult companies ? Best Adult Content, Wicked Pictures, and New Frontier Media ? not to license with Acacia. " [end quote] To all concerned parties. Acacia's accusation is false. We are BestAdultContent.com ... ( a tiny company in comparison to Wicked and Frontier Media) and we were never, ever contacted by any IMPA members other than a brief reply to my initial Emails about the organization. Our failure to license with Acacia until now has been 100% our own decision. Of course we have an interest in the views of all parties concerned including our corporate shareholders, attorneys, IMPA, Acacia, and other members of the adult internet community, however we have not been pressured in any way by anyone in the adult Internet community. On the otherside we have had many communications with Acacia and Mr. Berman, including by Email, Postal Service and a in-person, one hour face to face meeting. IMPA, nor any of its member have directly lobbied us in any way. Our present stance is based 100% on our own decisions. We have just received another packet from Acacia demanding we license within the next 30 days. We will consider all aspects of the demands and make our decision accordingly by the deadline given." |
