I sure hope that Scott Weiland can get his act together for a while...at least long enough for them to finish the album and do a little touring.

In case you don't know, Velvet Revolver is Guns 'N Roses with Mr. Weiland as the front man.

Same here...looks like this is as close to GNR as we're gonna get. Axl is a fucking space cadet, and the rest of the gang doesn't want to deal with him...even if he'd deal with them.

Someday they'll reunite. KISS did and brought in about $50 million in ticket sales the first 18 months or so...and they're still kicking. Got my tix to see them play with Aerosmith this summer. Can't wait!

I miss GNR too. But I like what I am seeing with Velvet Revolver. :thumbsup

Their audio clips of 'money' available for download on the site sound like shit.

The downloads are shit. Get on Kazaa or any other P2P system and look up "Set Me Free". It's from The Hulk soundtrack and it's a nice rockin' intro for the band.

I saw the band play live at the El Rey last month....

It was a very uptight Hollywood "noting is impressive to us" kind of crowd.

Within 30 seconds of Weiland on stage the entire crowd was going nuts.

They really did kick ass...My expectation was low and was blown the Fuck away.
