magically appearing sales in Ibill cmi

I started with only eight sales for the first week, but the last 4 or 5 days sales have been "magically appearing" for the first three weeks of July!

Anyone have this happen?

CDSmith 07-24-2003 07:36 AM

Every sale I've ever gotten since '98 has magically happened. What's your point?

Pharrell 07-24-2003 07:56 AM

my point is alot of sales from the beginnig of the month were missed or werent recorded

CDSmith 07-24-2003 07:58 AM

As long as they were recorded and the cheque arrives in your mailbox, who cares?

If it bothers you that much, why not phone them up and ask them?

yeah.. i had NO sales for this period, now they just appeared in there.

Same here. Was trying a new sponsor...sent about 10,000 clicks over the past two weeks and not one sale. Looks like they all popped in the last day or so...cause I have a few now.

The iBill CMI database is separate from the transaction servers and the revshare servers. When a transaction occurs, the sales data is then replicated to the CMI server. The CMI had been having problems for about 2 weeks, and replication of the data from the transaction servers was delayed. Looks like they got that squared.

Checks are not cut off the CMI databases, they are cut from the transaction servers, so even if iBill hadnt squared the replication issue you still would have been paid the real amount.

What's sad to me about this post is knowing all the shit this guy and his company mustve gone through to actually receive and retain that piece of very accurate information.
Must be D.U. from scoregroup to know all that.

He knows more about that one piece of their system, then any Customer/Client Service assigned to help out with those questions.

Imagine the holdtime Pharrell would have experienced waiting for an answer had he actually called 1-800-764-4266

hmm.. maybe they're mine :-P

I had a few sales during a week in June from them and I tried to check it out a couple of days ago to see my progress.... and I apparently haven't made any sales...AT ALL....

When you work with Ibill, it behooves you to understand their system as much as possible. That way you can figure out the impact of any given day's problem.
