Good Laptop to Buy for general use?
Whats a good stable laptop to buy for 1000-1500 pounds? (Roughly $1500 - $2000). Low maintainance, good battery life, nice screen etc. NOT graphics or video use, just doing word files, emails, accounts etc. Purchasing in the UK.

Toshiba is good and price is not much.

I suggest not buying a Dell, i've seen three of them dying in less then a year. Btw. that three were diffrent models. I guess they all suck.

TOSHIBA.
I have an old Toshiba Tecra that I had running non-stop for 6 years. The newer versions are just as reliable. Gotta get that extra warranty stuff though as they can be bitchy when you want tech support. |
2k.. u can probably get a dell or a sony for style
