Boston to West Palm Beach in a day...
I'm delivering a friend's BMW from Boston to West Palm in October. Has anyone driven this way before? I'm debating on stopping at Myrtle Beach for a day rather than driving through non-stop.
I'm guessing non stop (with a few food breaks) should be around 26 hours? |

Actually more now that I think about it, I was actually thinking about Orlando not West Palm and Orlando to Werst Palm has to be about a 4 hour ride?

maps.yahoo.com says about 1440 miles, if you average 70 that's about 20.5 hours.

Ive driven 1300 in one day and that sent me to the edge physically and mentally. 1400 is too long without getting some sleep imo.

Your better off stopping IMO. You have until October to plan right? I've had friends do it in 23 hours non-stop speeding the whole way. Picking up a ticket in Georgia. (With 2 people switching driving.)
I'd break it up into 2 days and sleep somewhere in between. But depends how much of a hurry you are in. They were trying to catch a Dolphins game, so if they were late, they'd miss the game. |

They have auto transport companies, would cost you about $1k for good service.

He's on vacation that week, he has a home up north and one (very large one) in West Palm that I get to stay at for the week. Alot cheaper for him to have me drive it for him - plus I get a vacation out of it.
