Discount rates for high risk merchant accounts?
 

I've had a merchant account for about three years now and am looking for a back-up, but I'm getting conflicting stories from banks about what VISA's high risk discount rate is.

Anyone know what the general discount rate for high risk (adult) merchants is?

Does it vary depending upon:

1. Personal credit

2. Charge back history with other merchant accounts you have

3. Bank?


Also, has anyone had a problem with VISA putting some of their transactions through as "non qualified" for no apparent reason?
