How come women that accuse men of rape and are found lying aren't

    How come women that accuse men of rape and are found lying aren't

    prosectuted and sent to jail? I mean after all, she gets to accuse even if it didn't happen, but when proven she is lying, she just walks out of the courtroom, no harm, no foul.

    Something just doesn't seem right about that.

          Umm perjury is illegal. Just because they dont have enough evidence to convict also doesnt mean it didnt happen.

              I think it's because it's hard to prove that she lied unless she recants her story and by that time the guy has already spent time in jail and is just happy to get out after she tells the truth.
              If you're doing 15 years you don't want the chick to never recant because of fear of prosecution. You'd be like "hey just tell the truth and get me out and you can go".

                  After a conviction...it usually does not make any difference to the case...even if she recants.

                      If she is lying in court, she will go to jail (in Denmark, 2 mounths)
                      But she could feel that she was raped, even if the court says "no" to it.
                      Rape is not a black or white.

                          well I think Kobe can press charges against her too if he feels he has enough to prove that she is lying!

                          If Kobe was facing 4y to life... She should be facing the same punition if they prove she was lying....
