Actually... I was sound asleep and the TV turns on... I reach for the remote, but, it won't respond, then it starts to get louder & louder, I go to the manual controls - none of them work... I can't turn it down or off, by this time it's BLARRING LOUD, I reach for the plug and it finally turns off.
