Oddly very few have any desire to leave for the US - to the degree the US embassy was giving away 5,000 visas. So little chance of you getting the hippies :)

And no, there are a good few US doctors here, but the education system is on par or better than the US - so most doctors are trained here and nursing staff are usually nationals.
