DVD/video/SVCD Reproduction / Fulfillment
I need some wise words on the subject. I have my first DVD master being delivered in a few weeks. I *think* I should send it to a company like http://www.goldenrom.com/ and get them to:
- Reproduce 1000 copies - Do the order fulfillment (i.e. take the payment and organise shipping to the retail customer). Am I heading down the right track? Should I use SVCD instead of DVD? What about VHS? Any help would be appreciated. |
definitely DVDA

richard contact me ASAP, i will put you in touch with someone who can take care of you

You are on the right track. Don't even consider SVCD (its sucks, and not everyone can play them). DVD-R is the way to go if you don't want 1,000 at a time, otherwise DVD.
If you offer VHS also, you will boost your sales 25% or more. Thats about what we do, no reason not to. :1orglaugh |
thesaint what type of distribution network do u have.. msg me in prvt icq/aim
thanks |
I didn't post in to the thread to sell you anything... I do dvd-r and VHS duplication and fulfillment for some sites and my own, but if you want general information I'll be glad to offer it.
Distribution network? Very high tech! My wife runs the duplicating machines, packs them, and posts them, while I sit my lazy ass reading GFY! Don't have AIM or ICQ but feel free to email steve AT fareastmedia.com. |
Hi Richard,
Drop me an email or ICQ I might have a solution for you. We offer a full duplication, and fulfillment service at XRV. billy at wildrose.net |
Richard E-mail me at [email protected] I have a guy in Edmonton Canada who is handling my content. I am very happy with him and I am sure you will be. As far a VHS is concerned I think you should go with it as well.:thumbsup
