a woman I talk to as friends on the internet is pissed off because her kids gave her a hard time abotu moving to Miami from Cali to live with some guy she has never met in person....what kind of judgement would want someone to uproot their life and children to run across the country for some man she has never even been around? I would have pimpslapped my mother if she would have said some shit like that..

An ex-girlfriend of mine dumped me for a guy she met on the internet from Boston (We live in Seattle). Told me she was in love with him, saw herself spending the rest of her life with him, etc... etc...

Of course, the guy was a 23 year old loser still living with his parents and unemployed (she was 17 at the time) and suffice it to say, things didnt work out and she came crawling back eventually. I think turning her down was one of the most satisfying things I've ever done :ak47: :(

I know this girl whos in her late 30's.. seperated with two kids..
and is "net dating" some 20 year old raver kid. Shes an idiot and she wants to move in with him. her kids are like 10+... the last thing they need is some 20 year old pothead nerd around. Oh well.... net relationships are lame.

I met jact on the internet somewhere in the area of 10 years ago now. Not all net relationships are stupid.. But then again, it all depends on the context of the relationship. Most oftentimes, the people "looking for love" on the net are looking for an escape.. It's easy to proclaim your love and have a "relationship" with someone you've never met.. It's when it becomes reality that most of them fall apart.
