Design Question
After you have layout in head or on paper, you begin structuring the site ...
is your first move to work on the front page (index) or secondary pages? Im only asking because i remember when my dvd site was built, the guy did the backend first, i found that odd. Now im working on a 72pg site and i began with the index page, wonder if im doing it backwards? |
Doesn't matter. Do what you think feels right.
|
I am not 100%, but I think creating it backwards is the way to go.. THAT is unless you have whole/CLEAR picture of the web site in your head/paper..
|
Whatever makes you happy :winkwink:

are u a designer or guesser? ask yourself that question?

I spend hours doing keyword research before I even begin building pages. How else do you know what pages to make, and what words to use?
But I get most of my traffic from seo, I have never made a gallery. TGP guys probably don't bother, I bet they're PR0 anyway. |
well, the most diffiucult part is designing the front page (index). After that, it wouldnt be that hard to finish the rest of the pages. Its a dilemna most Designers face. :)
|
It doesn?t matter what page r u starting from, first you have to find pages with most common parts ( like navigation, menu, header, footer etc) then, define what parts of the page will be dynamic. Finish all basic parts (like navigation), then just copy or rename the page adding necessary dynamic elements. That?s how at least i do ...
