anyone knows the average percentage of click throughs for banners?

Depends on the banner, niche - and genre.
General Internet the CTR is like 0.15%
We got 1% on 754x60

1%? you should get new designers ;-) in the past we used to pull 2 to 3 % from a 468x60 banner - and up even as high as 8% with some designs ...
