can you handle a 9 to 5?
 

i can't. driving the same route to the same carpark every day, seeing the same faces, doing the same work, eating in the same cafeteria...6 months of that routine and i'm headbutting walls. anybody else?

I've been doing the 12-9 routine for 6 years.. I dont think I can even wake up before 10am anymore, maybe the computer is frying my brain?? :2 cents:

To be honest, I can't. Just the thought of doing the same shit over and over and over until you die turns me away. I have worked in a number labor intensive 9-5 jobs, and I can tell you it really really sucked.

fuck a 9-5.... i havent gotten up to an alarm clock in over 2 years.. i dont plan on doing it ever again!

8:30-4:30 is where its at

I've been doing 8:30 - 5:30 and it's driving me insane.

I've taken the liberty of showing up late and leaving early everyday, but it's not helping enough. I'm still about to go postal :BangBang:

There's hardly anything more terrible in the world than working a 9-5. I have worked lots of office jobs in the past, they were all REALLY bad. It's the same crap everyday, you only get a 15 minute break every 2 hours and a 30 min lunch. And if I log in late even 1 minute they KNOW!! There's always someone over your shoulder telling you what to do, and I would get yelled at for every small detail I did wrong. 9-5 is the worst.

Been doing it for a while now. But atleast my boss lets me do some of my pr0n work at my 9-5. Then come home and finish the rest.

Why did I view the pics in your briefcase? I'm scarred for life now. :(


As for 9-5, no, maybe a 12-8, or preferably a 4 pm-midnight.

there's honestly something wrong with me. because i do not function correctly or feel right if i get up before noon at the earliest. and i can never sleep early in the night before like 3. i've always been this way though, ever since i was a little kid. so just for that reason 9 - 5 would kill me.

and having to sit in aboring ass cubicle surrounded by idiots all toiling their lives away? no i don't think so. besides, they might not like it when every half hour i pack a bong. office buildings frown on that. :winkwink:

haha ditto! except I tend to go to sleep at around 5:30 am... but it's still all good.. if there were 27 hours in a day, I'd use the extra 3 hrs to actually sleep :):thumbsup

So, raise your hand if you are a depraved adult webmaster because your biorhythms do not allow you to keep a standard schedule.

I did 9-5 for two years outta college then got some sense and escaped that for.... longer than I care to remember!

The next step was to make life sweeter, - get a *much* better environment than "civilization" and quit this idea of paying taxes.

Now I got all three, but still work harder than I would in any 9-5 job!
