couldnt have said it better.

horror fans are not into movies like this.

this movie is for people who watch Monster House.

hahah

Just read an Ed Gein bio its better than a hacked version they twisted into a Hollywood movie.

Gein is the man.

Something about gutting women, using skulls for bowls, and decorating his house in their bones that puts him above the rest.

Exactly i'm a huge horror fan, and redoing this with second rate wanna be hollywood cuties is a joke. If you want the best stick with the original. They've mest up every redo, please let us horror fans keep the few good movies left that have not been butchered.

Can't they take this cast and do a remake of footloose?

Yeah, odd all the elements of his life were split into different movies:
Psycho, 'Saw, Silence Of The Lambs, etc.

One of the most fascinating books about Ed Gein is "Deviant" (which was also the basis for a so-so movie)

There is also a Slayer song about him called "Dead Skin Mask" and a song "Mad Butcher" by the band Destruction

I used to have an Ed gein tshirt with him and his crooked smile and plaid hunting cap

Original liked it!

Remake is gonna suck.

Girl in T-shirt just to captivate a bunch of teen guys to go see Jessica with nipple exposure. (yawn) Boring!

Save your money and rent Dude Where's my Car

I grew up in a small town outside Madison Wisconsin. One my of my teachers told me that one of the classes would take a field trip the Mendota Mental Intitution every year. They would usually get to meet Ed Gein. My teacher described him as "kind grandfatherly type man"

Wisconsin great for two thing. Cheese and mass murderers.

xxxdesign-net 07-17-2003 11:27 AM

bah, didnt care too much for the original.... First half was excellent.. but then, it fell apart.... :2 cents:

Geins life dictated how every mass murderer would act after him. The Godfather of it.

few people even know what you brought up, his life made so many movies happen.

As you sad, Psycho, Silence of the lambs, and texas Chainsaw Massacre all stem from him.

And Dead Skin Mask is in constant rotation here bro, love that shit.

:thumbsup

Yup, Gein set the bar on depravity.

DSM is one of my favorite Slayer songs. Truly creepy with the little kids voice and scream at the end as Tom Araya's vocals swell......

"dance with the dead in my dreams/ listen to their hallowed screams"

It's already been shot or at least in post production it looks like, so if they fucked it up, it's too late.

I didn't really like the last one... TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE the NEXT GENERATION
