This Danny kid just carved the fuck outta Pipe

I was watching that but that's been over for me for a while.

its all drama

partly drama, but it's mostly as real as it gets. A far cry from the bs of Survivor or Paradise Hotel or the Bachelor or that type of shit.... you can't fake getting hosed at Pipe.

I watch it... it annoys me when he trys to talk like he is such a stoner surfer guy... sure he is and can talk how he wants but it still annoys me.

So amp you ride waves like they do or you stick to smaller ones... i learned how to ride on some itty bitty waves on my trip to kauai in march then tried some bigger waves and got killed just trying to paddle out.

Last weeks episode blew, but last night could make up for a whole season of crappy episodes. Even chelsea's rides were sweet. That last ride in her first heat where it looked like she had been destroyed and then came out of it and had to punch through the back.

Rob's rides were great too. Too bad they couldn't get him in the house. He has so much style.

Even sweeter was that TiVo picked up the ESPN coverage of Teahupoo 2003.

Kelly is back and he is sicker than ever. Hey was full standing in the barrel looking back down the wave and just reached his hand up in front of his face and was playing with the water going over his head. It was so bad ass, especially at Teahupoo.

I was so stoked I couldn't sleep, then I watched surf girls... talk about a stoke killer.

I thought Fuller was going to buckle under pressure and yes fucking Chelsea charged Honolua. Fuller pulled that wave out of his ass and what a great wave.

BH is pretty entertaining and does give a good look into life on the North Shore. No sugar coating. However, what you see is not necessarily accurate and here is what I am referrring to:


What really happened between Liam and Sunny

"Reality Shows" are ALL about the editiing.

I had an MTV film crew follow me for a week and they had a script for the documentary prepared BEFORE they met me.

They already knew the story they wanted to tell. They just needed footage to flesh it out.


In fact they cut the show one way, then after legal pressures, they re-cut it and it was an entirely different story.

Editing=power.


(I love the North Shore show, though.)

Sunny was on 91X (san diego radio) a couple weeks ago and seemed super chill.
He actually said there was 'ol lady' issues involved with that smack through the car window.

But, for the purpose of drama, a 2 dimensional character is easier for TV. Thus Sunny becomes, "that one surfer guy runs around and hits people."

I vote for more surf footage, less drunk girls.

I look at porn all day, everyday, and it doesn't do much for me anymore.

I have to admit..when the virgin christian surfer's girlfriend bent over and half of her white thong was showing.. instant wood.
