Final word on payout changes
I just got an email from Silvercash.
They dropped payouts to $30 per sign up, $35 for volume. That's $5 less than I thought they were going to drop. ARS is supposed to make their official announcement on payout changes today also. Anyone else have any news to share regarding changed payouts? |
Fetish Cash has no plans to change payouts...
as I mentioned in a post yesterday, we've had our own merchants account for 6 years with no upsells/ cross sells, and no free trials. We have kept our CB's in line as well. We have always had high payouts with great conversions, and retention.... revshare and pps proggys both doing just fine, we don't see a need to change whats working for us personally :thumbsup |
I have issues with everyone who says they have "no plans" to change payouts or "we don't foresee any changes in payout"
Ony two companies have gone on the hook and said they're staying the same or being raised. That's CE and Hustler. You get the feeling alot of companies are going to wait until the last possible minute and THEN make a change, after they've had a bunch of webmasters switch out links from other programs that lowered payouts. Not saying you Patty, I just get that feeling this will play out just like the $750 registration fee, where alot of people jumped ship to AC Pay to find out 3 or 4 months later that they were going to have to pay a registration fee anyways. :2 cents: |
We have no plans to change payouts, keeping them at $30-$40. Free trials look like they are going bye bye, replaced by $1 joins.

its good PR if u increase payouts.
but like p diddy said, more money, more problems |
Just got this from ARS
In an effort to keep charge-backs to a minimum in light of Visa's new ruling of 1% domestic c/b levels effective 10/1/03, we will have to discontinue free trials. Free trials will automatically be set to a $1, 3 day trial payment option. There will still be (4) membership options for you to promote. They are the $1, 3 day trial, $2.99 trial which will now be a 4 day trial, the $4.99, 5 day trial and the $39.99 monthly memberships. Payouts reamain unchanged with the $1 trials receiving what the free trials were paying. The effective change date has not yet been determined, but it will happen before Oct 1. Remember, we are always going to work with you to make as much money with your traffic as possible. We have a major new product being release shortly and some great new features that should enhance your revenue stream as well as your overall long-term outlook in this industry as a webmaster. |

You know for all the talk Marc De did about lowering monthly prices and payouts because its "good for the industry" they sure didn't change much.
All they did was drop free trials, and that's because epoch doesn't give you a choice on that one. (And they haven't had them that long anyways) |
I think alot of companies will be changing.
More Partnership sites will appear again. We are staying at the $30 per payout and we will be raising our Partnership to 70% for everyone starting next week. |

A lot of partnership people keep saying this. I think that's a pretty extreme reaction, and a bit of wishful thinking. IMO, the 'big' change will be the general cleaning up of the biz, it's about time there were less bottom feeders. |

SWOIT aint changing!

We "are not" changing any payouts, still pay $40 per signup. Our webmasters make more at our sites because there is no entry pop ups and only 1 exit console.
