Which cars do 0-60 in under 6 seconds and I want to spend less than 30 grand

Get a used GS400. 5.8 second 0-60 stock. ANd you'll be in a $55,000 car, not a $30k car :-) And to 20"s don't rub.

How about a real car. Get a 97-98 Corvette C5 TargaTop with around 30k miles for about 24-28k...Make sure its a six speed and not an automatic. Those AT's are for yuppies. Ride in Style.
If you cand drive a stick yet, buy a 500$ mazda with a 5 speed and beat the fuck out of it till you can drive!

Get a 95 Benz 600sl. You'll find one for that price and those things will look and drive like new even if they are that old. It goes from 0-60 in 6.2, should be fast enough and you will drive in style.

If you get a honda civic and put a Type R sticker on it, and bolt on a body kit (make sure it is unpainted) and some imported air fresheners from Japan you will go fast.

Hey Lensmans suggestion is the Sobe car.

a new stang cobra is gonna run you 32k easy. The wrx sti is a good car, but still really expensive...Stick with the vette. You cant go wrong. Youll get the ultimate in handling, the true speed and power of the LS1 5.7 engine probably the only car listed so far that will make it to 60 mph anyways(except the grand National). Fucking honda civic, thats a good one buddy.

I am sorry, I never drove the WRX, but that is the ugliest damn sports car I have ever seen. Where those Jap designers high when they made that car?

what about the new mazda 6? i don't know about it's track times, but it's a nice looking car, runs mid-upper 20k's. but, 220hp v6, it can't do too bad.

If you believe any 'Vette other than the C06 handles well and you try to drive it hard, the only handling you'll get is from the paramedic loading you into the ambulance.

If you wanna go fast in a straight line, a 'Vette is one of the best value for money cars you can get. If you wanna go around corners as well, get the Evo or WRX...

First of all its a Z06, and the corvette's are known for its handling worldwide...your fucking evo couldnt pull 1g in a turn if it had a fucking jet engine stapped to the hood and 6 tons of lead in the damn thing. Before you speak, empty the rocks out of your head and make sure you know WTF your talking about...damn ricer.
try and pull 1G in a turn with an EVO your car will be twisted metal.

You're right about the Vettes being known worldwide for their handling - they're known for how BADLY they handle. Every wonder why very few places outside the US (with all it's long, straight roads) bother selling Vettes? Only the Z06 (put the "C06" down to dodgy typing skills) is worth bothering with, and you won't get one of those for $30k.

Drive a Vette. Hard. Then drive an Evo or a WRX. I have. The Vette doesn't stand a chance.

Then find out what "handling" means ("Handling" is not the same as "cornering", and sustained lateral g is more dependant on tyre size than handling ability) before accusing me of not knowing what I'm talking about, you'll sound less stupid.
