how do i stop quicktime from being my default .mpeg player?
 

I don't know what the fuck is wrong with quicktime...everytime I click on a link that is .mpeg , it will work for the FIRST movie....For the rest of my session while my computer is on, every other mpeg i click on won't work...

I just want to make media player the default but I can't figure out how....any suggestions?

right click on a file and associate the file type with the program of your choice in properties.

Did that make sense?

Might have made sense, but it's wrong. Just chose "open with" and then select the check at the bottom to associte it with the program you want.

when I right click a movie file, there is no "open with" option in the menu
