I scanned my drive and no viruses

Im gonna re format tommorow if i cant work out how to fix it.

i don't use windows, but someone always seems to mention adaware in this sort of thread.

Adaware did not catch it for me .. I was editing registrys and still something is weird..

Na, no need for format. cutetwink is right. it is the hosts file. same shit happens to me every few month. just edit it (its a txt file)..... if you use winm or 98 it is in c:/windows

Its an entry in you hosts file you have to delete... email thehun for the exact line to remove.... my girl had this problem about a year ago. i don't remember it..... sorry i cannot be of more help... but i can assure you its your hosts file causing your problems...

I had this a couple of months ago. All kinds of sites being redirected to one site.

I looked in my HOSTS file and there hundreds of entries that didn't belong there.

yep adware is good also spybot it's very good (Free). I've done some reading and you really need like 3 or 4 of'm this shit is getting worse everyday. Need firewall software and hardware, Virus checkers, don't depend on just one, I have three, one will find what others won't, same with spyware detect software.
