I was this one ..

Nothing big or fancy.. just a straight & to the point page I put up specifically for this traffic to see how it went..

i bought some traffic from them and it sucked ass.... didnt make 1 cent

I don't wanna slam the traffic cause I don't know if it's good or bad.. I'm just wondering if it's still floatin around out there somewhere or if my counter and the sponsors counter both copped an attitude at the same time.. :)

Looks fine to me, the kind of straightforward page you need.

Have you checked the hits according to your server logs and seen how they compare?

I am not blaming them because I am not smart enough to know what all is involved but my stats were one tenth of what theirs were. My server stats that is. My CTR, image, file and page requests were all consistant with one tenth of the traffic I purchased. Never got an email response either when I asked about it.

I guess it works for some people and doesn't for others.

Their traffic stinks! I bought traffic for my tgp and the productivity was lousy! Just a little better than your CTR... :ak47:

When we tested the traffic we had the same situation (our stats nowhere near their stats).

We've tested other brokers using the same stats reporting service (is it a reseller's interface, or a common script?), and have had perfect numbers come up with them.

Ya I would have to agree the traffic is absolutely horrible in my experience. Maybe it was me or maybe it just plain sucks ass. Hard to say but choker traffic is by far the best imho. I have bought well over a couple of million uniques in my time.:2 cents:

I bought 10k worth, didnt bring any signups in but it was only 70 bucks, so i didnt really care :2 cents: atleast I got all that I paid for, showed up on my counter.

I don't sell 'magical traffic', it's just traffic that I buy from various sources and distrubute it to my customers through my traffic management script.

I know that the traffic isn't crap, because I have people that reorder on a regular basis. I've been experimenting with it on various sponsors and have been having some success as well.

Tell you what I recommend, buy directly from sites themselves that match your niche.

This is the best way to know you're getting the demographics you need to convert.

The problem I see with all the brokers is many are just lumping all sorts of traffic together. It does you no good if you have a foot fetish site to be getting traffic from a BBW site for example.

As far as niches, I offer gay traffic.

I filter my traffic by IP also, so you can get traffic from almost any country in the world. German traffic, Italian traffic, and US/Canadian traffic are my most popular 'geo targeted' traffic packages right now.

Well.. I did ask you over icq if I had received all of the traffic as the your stats page indicated and you said yes.. then when I explained what my stats and the sponsor's stats showed, I never got a reply..


As far as what "I" am doing wrong.. all I did was buy traffic to a specific site which didn't show up on my counter/stats..

I'd try them, but they don't have traffic for this type of site.. I don't do much with galleries or tgp stuff and this is what most trafficers sell to.

First of all, never use a 3rd party counter like that on an AD page which is what that is. Second of all, no comment.

One time he sent me 50k to a gay page, then i bitched that it didnt make me 5 cents, he told me i forgot to tell him it was a gay niche, he just sent me general hits ...

Pat and his traffic are A-OK in my book ... If you have any problem whatsoever, i suggest talking it over with him ... he is always willing to help, especially when it comes to keeping his customers happy ... even at his own expense.

Did anyone here ask for other sources of traffic? No they did not. What do you do? Search every thread that has the word "traffic" in it and spam your shit? Do you guys from sex.com have a scheduled time everyday to go on the bbs boards and spam your shit everywhere?? Nobody asked for other sources of traffic here, they were reporting results from someone. You guys have no FUCKING CLASS whatsoever.

I bought 10k hits from Turboface......

My server stats and a secondary stats script read about 10% of what his stats read.

I hit him up on icq and he gave me another 8k worth via his stats right away with no arguement.

When it was all said and done, his stats said he sent 18k hits. My server stats and seperate secondary stats script read about...10-11% of that. (1,900 hits or something close)

Seems like a great guy, and I'm sure he runs a good program, but something was definitely wrong with his stats for my particular campaign.

I didn't lose any money though. I made one sale and got my 60 bucks back so it's all good I guess.

problem is if its exit hits, the surfer might not let the page fully load before closing it. So your stats wont recognise the hits.

Hey I like Turboface from what I have dealt with him personally. I just think there is an intermittent problem. No biggy. Find it. That 10% seems to be a problem from time to time. An honest bug someplace or maybe even someone who is selling him traffic is fucking him. Returning my email would have kept me from even writing on this post.

As for the page not loading??? I am pretty sure server log stats don't need the page to load to be counted. They count the actual times the file was asked for.

I will plug Choker at this point. He has the only traffic source that I never have a problem with.

The solution to the counting problem is real simple. Make a simple php page that counts every hit. Have the seller send the traffic to this page, then redirect the traffic to the site you want. I do this on exit traffic I buy, and it is 99% accurate.

good idea ... i dont know PHP so i wouldnt know how to make it count hits other than stick a counter on it, or just check server stats for that page .... which can be done with any page i supose.

Anyone wanna show me a sample of how to make a php page check hits or requests?

There are PHP scripts around that work with a single pixel image.

You place that pixel at the top of the page and the script counts it everytime it loads.


Apart from that the only really accurate count is what you get off your server.

I think this might be what your looking for. One of the traffic brokers gave me this php page to throw up on my server. All he did was link to this file on my server, and I would insert the url in this script that I wanted this file to redirect to.

Most of the time when I have customers say that they haven't received all their traffic, there's usually a simple explanation such as a lame page counter, missinterpetation of their logfiles, etc.

From now on I will be providing any customers that request it, a detailed analysis of the traffic that they have received.

One of you guys will be able to judge for yourself, right now. I'll be giving away more free traffic in a few minutes...

yes i had similar results with the counter and sponsor stats not looking correct when looking at the amount serverd.

but turboface was very helpful and provided some more traffic to see what was wrong.
