Most reliable and fastest hosting company sites during June

Both New York Internet and above.net sites were faultless throughout the month, the only failed requests to their sites resulting from equipment failure in Level 3's London datacenter, where one of our measurement points is placed. On average New York Internet had faster connection times than above.net; however one of our measurement points is located at nyi.net, so this was to be expected.
Intriguingly, all of the Top 5 placed sites run the FreeBSD operating system, but in other respects the Top 10 come from all segments of the industry from shared hosting through to high end colocation services.
