I hang out here a lot, and the thing that amazes me is more and more I see people with 2000+ posts and I have NO FUCKING IDEA who the hell they are. you'd think if someone had 2000+ posts here (that's a LOT of posts) I'd at least have noticed them.... but there's PILES of people on here with that kind of post count and I have NO CLUE about them whatsoever.

What always gets me is when someone in your neighborhood moves and you don't see them leaving or they don't say goodbye to anyone and the next thing you know there's a whole new family there that you didn't see move in.

this is a pretty big place... and despite some dorks who give much rats ass about post count, it shouldnt matter. Theres people with less then 1k posts and most people know them, and people here with 5k posts and nobody knows what they do. Who gives a shit. People who really give a shit about 'post count' have some ego problems. Sad. But the rent is due.

when i first came at gfy it was common to talk on icq with the rest members of the board. I pretty much met most of the members here like this.Glad I did it. I remember for one period when i was getting online on icq i had 50 messages waiting for a reply hehe.

After a while it became impossible to chat outside the board with anyone. I've met few more people and in general although I do not avoid to do so with other webmasters, I consider it twice because takes a lot of time from my work.
