Need help with a sponsor problem

I started using a new sponsor in early May. I haven't done much promoting them but I have made enough sales to build up a total of $420 in payments.
The problem is I still haven't recieved a check. I stared sending emails in early June. After about a week I recieved an email stating that the checks had been mailed and that I should of received them. A couple of days later I recieved an email stating that there had been a mix up and that my check had not been sent for either pay period on May but that they would send a check combing those earnings into one check.

Now I'm only getting email's stating that the check has been sent and I should have gotten it or that it should be here any day with assurances that it will be looked into further.

I have done searches for this sponsor on several web master boards and have found no complaints and several people posting how good they are.

I'm hestitant to bad mouth a sponsor over what might be a accounting error and I certainly don't want to get into a flame war here on the boards.

Can anyone offer advice on how to deal with a situation like this?

Tell us what sponsor it is. Also call them if they have a phone number. Sometimes when they say the check is in the mail they actually mean it.

Show them this thread and tell them you're gonna mention them by name if they don't bring the money and 2 hookers to your door by 8 pm this evening.

I actually just emailed them asking for an phone number.

I agree that the check could be in the mail but we're talking about a few days short of 2 months since the first check should of been sent out. and over amonth since I started emailing them about this situation.

Wilco: I would prefer to keep that as a last resort I'm not looking to make an enemy here I just want the situation cleared up.

Thrawn$: I have double checked the address and I did in fact ask about paypal or wire transfer. They never responded to that email.

Check your partner info to see if address is correct.

Mail them again to confirm they are using the correct address , wierd shit can happen in admin.

If you dont get a phone number off them post the sponsor here and mail them again.

bottom line here - the only people that can really help you are the ones with the sponsor program. if several checks have gone astray and they are not replacing them, either they aren't sending them or you need to step up your communication a notch.

it is all about if they are willing to help you.

have you checked to make sure they are sending to your correct address?

i do not see you are badmouthing them to tell what happened. also if they say they will combine it into your next check, tell them no - that is what you were told before. in order for you to keep sending hits, you need to be paid.

Thanks Dopy

I have double checked my address in the accout info section on there webpage. I'll have them double check it on thier end.

I just found a phone number on their site. I'm going to give them a call right now. I don't expect a response. I'll probaly have better luck on Monday.

If I don't get some resolution by next week I'll probaly post the name of the sponsor.

I just called the number. I got an answering machine. I'm not too worried about that, it is Saturday afternoon. Hopefully I'll hear back from them soon.

Now for my rant

I've been in this business for a year and a half. I have been lucky so far. No major incidents. Now in the last couple of months I get caught in Gallery People fiasco and now this.

I can't complain too much. So far I'm only out about $500 so far. I've heard horror stories far worse.

i haven't gotten ripped by a company not sending checks since the old days. the closest incident i had was CEN's checks going missing from my box, the idiot mail lady delivered them to the wrong house probably, as she has done that with letters/packages before. i've since gotten a PO box for that reason and CEN fixed my address, and payed me what i never got. one company way back in the day, they were small, new but had a nice site, i made 3000 bucks with them, but never saw a dime...

as others have said, calling is the way to go, if that doesn't work, chances are you won't ever see the money, sadly.
