Candid slow?
 

The server seems to be slow right now...The big site with candid are slow too. Is it just me?

no IMO Candid are normally great this is the first time i have known them to go down in like 2 years.... or our server anyway

What is the problem?

i tried icq support - as usual, no response. i called and when i selected technical support, it says "the person you are calling is not available".

Yeah, down. Sucks ass.

first time this happened in long time, somenody prob spilled coffee on a router or something

they went down a month ago for a few minutes, this is much worse.

I think dead in the water might be a better description. I get an error page for my domains and candidhosting.com itself.

candidhosting icq support finally answered me - sort of. he said it's a "network issue" and they are "working on it".

a few details would have been nice, but he disappeared again after i asked what KIND of network issues.

Just spoke to Charles,

We had some issues with our transport providers and it was all on there end, we had resolved the situation as quickly as possible, rerouted traffic and everthing is coming back up as we speak...if your still currently down, holler to us on ICQ or call the NOC and your machines will be brought back up in the order the calls/messages are recieved.

For sure candid could make a lot more if they could do that. I know a few big webmasters that have left candid because of the technical support they had been given on icq. :(
