I just recorded a video with my webcam and it is 40 seconds long and 53MB. How do I compress it, that is huge!!

Render the vid into wmv with just one stream (make two or three vids of it to get Modem, Lan and DSL)

Cleaner 5 works well. Pinnacle Studio can compress too.

Search for updated codecs from WM, and Quicktime. Sorrenson is very good.

What type of file is your cam video?

Are you really a whore :)?

Go ahead and download VirtualDub.

It's free and I think it suits your needs best. Just that you can only chose one of the codecs installed on your system to convert it.

I may suggest Windows Media Codec or DIVX codecs as they have good size/quality ratio.

Tmpgenc will do and consider Divx ro Xvid too.
