Is Directnic deleting people's domains or what? This is the third thread tonight.

Maybe someone over there needs to take a look at what's going on and figure out if it's being handled in the best possible way.

donsimon 07-12-2003 09:07 AM

Mr. Fiction, we only delete domains when they expire. So don't worry.

Za Ha - You can always email me at [email protected], I usually answer emails about 20 hours a day. And if you don't here anything from me within 12 hours, you probably hit my spam filter, so make sure to include directNIC in your email and it should get through.

If you want to call and speak to support, you can call 504-679-5170.

There are 5 owners, 2 never go on vacation. :)

Of course it does not matter since we have the best staff in the biz!

Donny - good seeing you on GFY!

Tried calling!
No one answered (so I left a message with the right username and email)
Sent 3 emails and NO REPLY!

They wanna delete a domain with over 200k of traffic and the WHOIS info is CORRECT!!!

If this happens I will have to sue for sure, because this is a joke! A professional company fucking with their customers!

donsimon 07-12-2003 11:02 AM

Za Ha,
I don't know why hotmail bounced your email to me, I've been getting emails all morning. Try [email protected] instead...

These KIDS are funny.

Ive been with DirectNIC for over 4 years.

Had an issue with a domain regarding false whois info, fixed the infro and called there was no more issue.

I guess sitting at home behing URLS and not taking care of the problem leads to more but dont blame DirectNIC, theyve NEVER had problems.

Some punk gets a domain deleted to his own negligence and the sharks start swarming, funny.

Directnic rocks.

Shut up, KID.

Its funny to see children attack companies that have dealt with and been WAY MORE PROFESSIONAL then they could ever be.

Go check your HOTMAIL email

hahah

Za Ha,
Thanks for updating the WHOIS information, and I reported to ICANN that you have updated your information and everything is fine now.

Thanks.

Thanks Donny, that's great to know. I could name a few other registrars who aren't pro-active in dealing with this problem and helping their customers. It's good to see that Directnic is taking care of business. :)

We try, I don't get to watch the boards like I used to a long time ago. It used to be my daily ritual of reading all of the posts from at least 4 or 5 boards, just been too busy lately.

But if anybody ever has any problems or questions with directNIC, they can contact me anytime at [email protected].
