Condo goes for a cool $45 million in NYC
NEW YORK -- A publicity-shy British financier plans to pay $45 million in cash for a 12,000-square-foot perch in AOL Time Warner's intended new home at the edge of Central Park, the most expensive apartment sale in Manhattan history.

yeah, the places look amazing. they start at around 1.8 M.
here is their website: http://onecentralpark.com/ |
probably the coolest place on Earth to live is Manhattan but the cost of living is ridiculous. There are rich successful people who live in smaller apartments in Manhattan than TGP submitting newbies.
i think unless you're a young person who just needs a mattress to crash on to live nicely in Manhattan you need minimum mid six figures annual income. One Central Park - that is one cool address. Sounds like a TV show already. |

Is that a polite way of saying "if you're only on a dialup connection, there's no fucking way you can afford to live here"? |

That's the first time I've seen the 1 Central Park site. It's very cool!!! Unfrtunately, to get an apartment with a decent view in there it'll probably cost 4 million. Hmm... motivation. ;) |
