I heard that Priest threatened the "Rock Star" producers with legal action when they got wind on the story. In the end, only the "old rock singer comes out closet, replaced by young cover band singer" parts were similar.


Halford back in Priest is great news! Look for a Maiden/Priest tour next year.

As for him being gay, it was pretty well known during the 80s - and no one really cared.

Zakk Wylde and his SDMF brother Nick Catanese are in it, and did the music for it. It would have been a better movie if it was just those two guys going fucking berzerk, but we'll have to wait till July 28th to see that on DVD. Marky mark is kind of a fag, and I think he kept that plastic cock he wore in Boogie Nights to help keep his confidence high.
