rowan, please read
I am havign the same problem that you did with my rackshack server. What did oyu do to fix it?
Cancelled it and asked for a refund. :Graucho
Just to be sure - describe the prob from your p.o.v.? |
same exact shit. site is running very slow and here is the bandwidth graph. trottled at 2mb/s
http://www.computerpod.com/bandwidth.png This is the second time it happened. first tiem i just canceleld the server and got a new one. but that was only a week ago. |
Yep, same. :( What does the weekly and monthly graph look like?
It's only been doing this for about 6 hours so the weekly and monthly graphs look normal. You can see it starting to flatten out on the weekly graph. I am about to switch to a new server, don't know how much more of this I can take.
Are you on a 10Mbit unmetered or just making good use of your 700 gigs?
I've given up on rackshack, I will not be returning to them after the way they have handled this issue. |
im on 700gb. I have a few of the 700gb and I just bounce around the sites so I dont go over.
I noticed yours was capped at 1.2MB, were you on the 700Gb plan or the 400GB plan?
Standard Celeron 1.3/512Mb RAM/60Gb HD with plain RH. 700Gb transfer. (they actually gave me 1 gig of RAM, I presume they were out of 512Mb servers :) )
I was looking at my log files and I noticed that there were two at exactly 2.0 gig a piece. so i overwrote them with 1 byte files and restarted the server and apparently it works fine now. Rackshack was no help but it looks liek it wasn't there fault.
