Streaming Media and WinPlayer9 - anyone figure this out yet?
 

Cant seem to view any pages where the video is streamed through. Example:

Anyone know a better player or how to get wm9 to play these files? I also wonder how many of my surfers have the same problem :(

I got it, but the pages still try to use the winmedia player

Media Player 9 does not support Real Media, nor Quicktime.

Why?

Bill Gates had a big blowout with the founder of Real and we all know how he feels about Steve Jobs and Apple.

Er - does that page load for you? I cant find uninstall on wm9 either - microsoft is lame.

loads for me almost instantly. You might need to upgrade your codecs.

WM9 rocks if you have ALL of the codecs. Go do an update that will help.
Also, who ever coded that needs to put the codec call in the EMBED code, that way your Player mgiht go and down load it.

That movie plays for me.

Try run the microsoft software upgrades to get hte latest versions of windows media and ie. also try clearing your ie cache
