What about "free" AVS programs?
If this was discussed somewhere else, please point me to the thread. But I'm curious as to how this will impact AVS programs that promote the "free" signups? If they're in compliance, they obviously won't change their business model unless forced to do so by the processors. A lot of them use cross-sells and such on their join forms.
Is this the end of the free AVS model too? |
Not positive, but I think they're going bye bye also, or will soon.

Hey Everyone,
In response to the question about free avs's I can respond that Sexkey.com and Mansites.com is going forward. We are, however, no longer going to use the term AVS or any term related to age verification, but we are a free membership site. We would also like to thank our webmasters who hung tough a few weeks ago as we made these changes. We hope you understand now why we hurried so quickly. We process with CCBill, and they are a great billing company for keeping chargebacks low. We also run an additional customer support of our own to ensure quality customer service 24/7. For these reasons, we will still be a free site and we will still pay $20 per signup and have high conversions. If you have any questions you can contact me at [email protected] or [email protected] |
