Anyone Have A Sec To Explain Toplist's?
 

I never played with toplists. I would like to know a bit how they work.

Do they trade exactly like TGP's?

I wonder ... do all trades usually reset at midnight? or does it keep a running 24hr total


Anyone feel like being cool and explaining it? Or maybe just flame me to shit as usual, whatever.

Im only asking because i notice a few of my toplist trades zero out the list at a certain time.

Lets say i was #1 trade in his list, and he zero's it out ... will he now send me hits regardless if i sent him any or not, just because i was #1 before the reset?

I dunno ... just wondering the mechanics behind it, thats all.

He won't send you anything. It actually depends on where you are on the toplist. If you don't send anything when he resets you'll get thrown down by the other sites.

Best way to avoid this situation is figure the time of the reset and force your traffic at that time.

right, but if i have 50 trades that all reset at the same time, i wanna force to them just after the reset ....

Id need to have my own strong source of traffic to support that force.

it depends on how the toplist is setup.

for example we use a script on our toplist called autorankpro.

and we can set the toplist to reset at any time. right now i think ours resets once every 72 hours.

ours refreshs the numbers and rankings every hour---and when this happens the rankings can change somewhat.

the key for good conversions i think is to get on a toplist that is compatible to your niche---and try to stay near the top.

the main advantage of a toplist over a tgp is that the surfer goes to your website when he clicks on your image (at least in our topsite).

we have a great toplist for original content websites---that's the only kind that can join our topsite.

but the average conversions were seeing right now are about 1/250.
