How to hack a zip file's password!

Can you do this with a hex editor? Anyone know how?

It's not just lock up the files, also encodes them.

So you need to find the password..

Try that Advanced Archive Password Recovery :thumbsup

It has a unique feature:

if they use a long password (10 or more letters) you can expect it to be finished by next year if you're lucky, and if they used characters with ascii values > 127 (eg double-byte encoded foreign language characters) you can expect it to be finished by the next millenium.

This is ture for the bruteforce but if the zip archive meets the guaranteed decryption criteria of that program, it might be around an hour.

Check the above url.. As they stated it works with most WinZip archives with 5+ encrypted files is available..
