I have been doing the trailers for my new sites, and I noticed I they started getting longer and longer. I was wanting to put to much into it. I had to stop the CREEP, and focus on making the HOOK, so surfers see them and have to join!

I'd like to add that there are many more marketing techniques out there that you can pick up on, if you take the time to watch ads and commercials in a different way then you can learn a lot already.. A few marketing texts to get an understanding of the basics never hurt anyone either

Somebody hit the nail on the head.... Good Article Redshoe. I edit all the video and trailers for all the reality sites for SIC Cash and my trailers have also been known to creep up to a minute.. Trying to make a conscious effort in keeping them short and sweet and trying to HOOK the surfer, but there are some cases where I feel the need to lay out the entire storyline in order for the surfer to catch on..

Redshoe.. does this happen to you or anybody else?

I have had this problem. It is tough, especially on complex scenes.... ( not the fucking, but the story line)

Sometimes I just try to put a little in, and then use text to try and explain what is going on.
