Perhaps you can physically take out your hard drive and hook it up to a working machine as slave? That's what I do when all else fails...at least then you can get your data backed up
|
If the tech people can't figure it out, go somewhere else. I bet it's something simple...
|
Did you try to replace the harddisk?
If not, try that. Could be sector probs. Tried that once. <br> |
Your problem may be with the crowd you choose to associate with. Since you are a spammer and in the spam support business, your business associates are not of the highest quality and ethics are they? You probably pissed some one off and this is your reward........

Ugh, I hadn't even realised it was a spammer. If I'd known I wouldn't have volunteered any info.

i'm noone's enemy. I have no enemy's at all.
it just i dont understand. Why this is happening ? I did format drive C and try to install windows agian and it just freezing and won't let me install :uhoh |
Don't just format, you should delete all the partitions first.
Isn't there a boot partition? And if you format, you are not formating the boot partition, just the primary one? Something like that.... If you want to save your data, maybe get a new hard drive, make that your primary drive. Install XP on it fresh, hook up the corrupt drive as a slave, and your data should all be there unless you erased it in the format. If so, you can get the data back with a program called GetDataBack for NTFS. I have used that software on a drive I formatted, and I'll be damned if I didn't get every single file/folder back, intact with no damage. |
