Any Old School Hackers Here?
 

All the talk lately about hackers and shit got me curious. I've seen a few posts here from people who were around back in the day when the Commodore 64 was the shit.

Anyone ever screw with the phone companies when there was no public internet and the old school BBS's were the only online communication?

I used to play with blue boxes, red boxes, phone "phreaking". Spent hours hacking through Tymnet and the old QSD chat system. Broke into countless voice mailbox systems to trade info with others. Anyone remember "Phone Man" on the commodore 64?

There's gotta be a few of you out there...Let's hear some stories. :)

i mostly broke into renegade/wildcat bbs' for the porn. bastards wanted photocopy of DL mailed to them for access. changed sysop pw and downloaded 100megs of cd porn on my 2400bps to 1.44disks. now thats dedication :thumbsup

Back in those days I had a friend that designed telecom circuit boards that showed me some tricks that were pretty amazing.

In highschool I once fucked 3 different gals in a 24 hour period.


I remember it like it was yesterday.

One in the afternoon after a date to the Zoo.

The the next with a girl I had a date with for dinner an a movie at night. The movie was Silence of The Lambs. (not exactly something to get a gal in the mood)

And the last a 1:30 am booty call to a gals hottub at her parents while they were gone.

Man.. I still had enough juice back then to paint a mean load on a face even after 2 previous events.


I miss high school.

While you guys were home hackin, I was out paving the way for what was soon to become boneprone.

I loved that game " Legends of the Red Dragon" that game kicked ass for a text based game :)

I kicked ass at that. I was always fucking the serving wench.

I wrote a quote-of-the-day program for Searchlight BBSs that had backdoor in it. There were actually several Cleveland-area BBS's that used it. I used to drop into DOS and use the LORD setup program to give one of my characters fat gold and cool weapons.

The <B>best</B> BBS games were BRE/SRE, Tradewars 2002 and LORD.
