okay, I have to admit I am not as pissed as I was when I started this post . . . . but hey!

I have very few pleasures in life that I rely on the mainstream media to provide me with, and one of these things is Satuday nights back-to-back episodes of COPS, followed by the one hour of AMW.

I neve thought this would happen, but in the last year, I rarely go out on Saturday nights until 10 PM just for that reason.

So, I had a couple hits, turn on Fox to catch the end of The Simpson's, and what happens? They are going to show Scream 2 instead. With commercials and editing. They take off COPS for that?

Hey, but it all worked out. As I was trying to find something out off 200+ cnannels to watch, I stumble across the Stones concert they had in NY last year.

I can pass up COPS for that. :thumbsup

TV is evil. I only watch tv one hour a week, Andromeda on saturday night.. Although sometimes I'll cave for something really good on TLC or discovery (i love the ancient history documentaries).

TV keeps me company and educates me. If stays on History or Discovery Channel, and I listen while I work. I rarely view it, but I hear the same info over and over and eventually it sinks in

Speaking of which, did you know that they use satellites to spy on us?

Yeah, I'm one of those people who doesn't enjoy being "fed" visuals.. I'd rather sit and read a good book. :) And I do read. A LOT

you know, try as I may, I can not figure out how to read and work at the pc at the same time, so most of my reading is done pn the pot. Reading Homer's "Odyssey" right now, so no light reading there :thumbsup
