Another cop beating on FoxNews
 

You guys see this video of this cop slamming this guy around and kneeing him in the face and slapping him and shit. Someone in the neighborhood right down the street videotaped it. They are kicking this dudes ass.

Uh, he probably deserved it. Did they show the beginning of the tape, because they always cut that out ya know? So what if the guy tried to attack the cop, if he did, more power the cops!

Looks like they are showing nearly the whole tape, the guy was trying to swallow a little packet of cocaine and he got pulled over for not using his turn signal. Of course if he fought them, then he deserves some of the beating. Check the tape out for yourself man, I'm all in favor of cops beating the shit out of people who fight with them.

The really sad thing is that when someone gets a video like that the only this that they can think about is how much they are going to make. The guy that shot the Rodney King video, edited it and sold it to a tv station that then aired it as the entire video of the beating. The media then promptly hung the cops before anything had been done to investigate the incident. Some guy working at the crime lab realized that the tape had been edited when he noticed 1/2 of a frame of static at the very begenning of the tape. They got a search warrent and found the un cut version in the guys house. That is why the cops got off on the first trial. You could hear them in the video telling King to place his hands on the car, not to resist, ect. ect and then see him punch the female cop in the face and throw the male over the trunck of his car. That is what was removed...


They finally convicted the cops later, because they went WAY overboard on taking the guy into custody.. Yes some of the people do deserve that beating, but MOST do not.

This link only shows the police video, the home video that someone on the street taped shows better footage of everything and apparently it can only be seen on FoxNews. I know they replay the show again tonight at 11 central if you want to see it.

I watched the video (well all that could be seen on the link provided in this this thread) and I can not see anything wrong with it...

The only reason this thing even makes the news is because it is a White cop, using force (which I think is appropriate) on a black criminal. He struggled with them, and refused to do as they said, therefore they restrained him and put him on the ground.

Now, although I am in Australia, I am studying at Uni to be a police officer. From my work experience last semester, I can say this happens all the fucking time! If you are breaking the law, and struggle with police officers, what the fuck do you expect? To get a kiss on the check?

If you read my post where I posted the link you will see that the police video doesn't really show shit because they beat this guy up beside the car not in front of it and the tape that shows the real beating is a homevideo by someone just a bit down the street zooming in on it and it can be seen on FoxNews. As soon as I find a link for it, I'll post it.

i think cops should be able to beta whomever they want, wwhenever, wherever they want without reason so help them when they get to me and receive the beating of their life, they don't arrest me.

b) do not attack him
c) do not attempt to swallow any narcotics you have on you that you were trying to sell to the neighborhood kids

This thread reminds me of something I read some time ago. A European-American kid wanted to start an exclusive cultural club on his University campus. The various Asian groups had one, as did the Blacks, but you know what happened when this kid tried to start one? He was accused of racism, and the University subsequently disallowed it before it had a chance to start. Oh the racism!!!

Let me give you an example of how cops can be total pricks, and how their claim of "resisting arrest" can be total bullshit.

About 6 or 7 years back, a friend of mine (who is white, just in case that matters to you) and myself went out to the bars. We were loaded, and decided to walk home. He lived about two blocks from me. When we got to my house, we hung outside for a few minutes talking before parting ways. He started walking around back to go home, and I went in the house.

The next morning, I hear my friend got arrested and was in jail. My neighbor on the side of me, who's always up all hours of the night, said she saw everything that happened. When th cops pulled up in front of my house, they ran around back, and came out again with my friend. She could hear him saying to them that this was his friend's house, but they were telling him to shut up and asking where the other guy was. I guess my friend got frustrated that they weren't listening to him, so she said he started to shout that this was indeed his friend's house. It was at that point that they one cop took him down to the ground with a choke hold. My friend instictively tried to resist the choke hold, but the other cop restrained him also, and after giving him a few punches to the kidneys, they cuffed him and took him in for resisting arrest.

Turns out, I found out that one of my other neighbors called the cops because they thought we were fuckin prowlers when we were standing outside talking. My friend went around back to take a quick piss before walking home when the cops showed up. They could have easily investigated his claim that it was his friend's house, and he was just on his way home, but they didnt. When he got upset, they used excessive force on him. When he resisted INSTINCTIVELY because of the choke hold, they got him on resisting.

Total bullshit. I showed up at the hearing thinking they were going to try to get him on the prowling as well, but they didn't even have that as a charge. Only the resisting arrest. We attempted to get our neighbor there so she could testify on his behalf, but she was old, and scared to say anything. So he had to plead "No contest". Total and complete bullshit.

They had no reason to arrest him to begin with. Yet he was resisting arrest? Some cops are just a bunch of ignorant, power-drunk high school fuck-ups frustrated with their small dicks.

My point is, why the hell does it make national news? Any problems would be much better handled locally. If these guys (like the criminal in the video stated) want to regard cops as another 'gang', rather than a respected agency, no positive changes will ever happen.

The guy in the video should of shut his mouth, done what he was told, and if any problems resulted, contacted the local unit. This dickhead is merely breaking the law, and trying to make some money out of it.

Anyway, this is my last post in this thread. Sorry, but I have wasted too much time already. :)

I watched the video and I must say the guy got what he deserved from the cops... resist arrest and you get what you deserve.

Also, I am very glad to live in an area where we have "smart news crews". That reporter is a fucking idiot! he kept saying, uh, um, and... Plus he could have revised his sentences to be short and to the point...

I met a gentleman once, who had his life changed by a police induced chain of events. He explained this chain of events in detail, and believe me it really wrecked his life.

He was at a bar in Texas, and was a witness to a barfight. When the police showed up, they arrested him. He asked why he was being arrested, and they responded "Resisting arrest." Now he gets dragged to jail, and goes to trial. He had no money to pay for a lawyer, so he ended up with a poor public defender. He was in fact convicted by a judge of resisting arrest with no other charges. He was sentenced to FOUR YEARS in prison, his only crime was asking what he was being arrested for. He did not have the money to appeal, and consequently served the time.

He lost four years of his life. He was beaten in prison and was badly disfigured from it. Between the four years in prison and his new scarred face, his wife left him, and took his daughter and moved to Pennsylvania. Even after he got out of jail, he wasn't allowed to leave Texas, so he couldn't see his daughter in Pennsylvania grow up for many years. Once his probation or parole or whatever they have in Texas ended, he moved to Pennsylvania, which is where I met him.

Where is the justice?
