Just got one and I know it's overkill for web shit but it's pretty badass. Anbody else using one?

JFK uses one for Fubar...

I've had mine since Sept. 02 and I've clicked off over 40,000 images. :)

What's overkill? Digital isn't very good with low light or shooting speed, so there's something to gain with getting a top of the line camera.

OK, so I hear the highest quality setting is to use NEF files and use Capture 3 and the photoshop plugin to work and edit those files.

The other would be to go fine and large and produce a JPEG. I hear the results are drastic between the 2. I ran some results today on the beach and didn't see any differences. Anybody else seeing a big difference between the 2?

If you are going to get one, be sure that it has v2.0 software loaded on it. :)
