WINDSOR, Ont. -- The Canadian government was urged yesterday to file a formal protest with the U.S. after Michigan police officers stormed through customs and conducted a gunpoint arrest at a tunnel linking Windsor with Detroit.

Windsor New Democrat MPs Brian Masse and Joe Comartin told a news conference the incident amounted to a breach of Canadian sovereignty.

Another side of the story ?

Basically, off-duty cop enters Canada. Tries to hide his gun, and ends up shooting himself. Goes to Windsor hospital to be treated.

Reminds me of the time the British army was on an exercise in Gibraltar practising beach landings, and "accidentally" ended up invading Spain. They said they got off course in fog, but we all really know they did it to piss off the Spanish...

Totally true and the news had video tape from a local so we got to see it and all. That was one of the best stories in my seven years here. Just classic.

Canada is Sovereign? Now that is a fucking laugh. :1orglaugh

Canada has the queen of fucking England on its money, and you call it sovereign? LOL. Canada is full of pussies too weak to declare independence. At least there are really hot chicks in Montreal. :)

footsex 07-05-2003 02:55 AM

Fuck canada and all you pussies that live there.
Happy birthday USA!
Our flag stand strong and always will, you horse hump frenchwana be fags.

Ludedude 07-05-2003 07:55 AM

Come on now, why all the fuss? Everyone knows Windsor is just a suburb of Detroit. Damn canadians always trying to pretend they have a country up there.

ozzymandius 07-05-2003 11:06 AM

Canadians are good for beer and bacon. That's it.

One of these days we just need to invade that "country" and fully Americanize them.

Or maybe the US should put Canada over its knee and give Canada a good spanking on its bottom. Canada is always acting up and talking back to us. It needs a little punishment.

Canada officially became it's own country in 1867. It officially declared it's complete independance from the UK in 1982, when "Dominion Day" was changed to "Canada Day". We have the Queen on some of our currency because she represents a part of our heritage.

And the tone of your post sucks ass, especially considering there are a good number of Canadian webmasters represented here.

100% right. We have past prime minister on our money and stamps also.

When we put the Queen on a stamp, it is because we want to tongue-clean her butt....

Don't forget the tooney..... queen on one side, a polar bear on the other. It's been said that the tooney shows the Queen, and the Queen's "bear" ass.

We've got the coolest money EVER.
