No man you can't leave at this point, because they will come right back in and take over again and it will be worse than ever before. What needs to be done is the proper management of things over there, our president didn't want a coaliton and now all those guys won't send in international troops because of it. I don't know how to solve it but I doubt pulling out is the way.

No.

I cannot rest until the poor people of Iraq have an American style democracy.

I dont care how many Americans have to die, its a matter of national security for Iraq to have free elections.

Now if we can just convert them to Jesus worship, the world will be a better place.

Looks like we are so that the President can look good to the rest of the world since he has a trip to Africa. He's going to fuck us all again somehow.

Bush makes me laugh.

The other day he was basically asking for the Americans troops to get attacked by the enemy.

"Bring it on"?

What the fuck is this guy thinking?

Does he think this is some sort of a fucking video game.

These soldiers are peoples sons and daughters for fucks sakes.

and Bush is telling the enemy to bring it on?

Yes... with thier cable tv, satellite dishes, internet access, and XM radio's I would guess that 90% of the country heard that.

EscortBiz 07-04-2003 12:34 AM

how will it effect signups?

FillmoreSlim 07-04-2003 12:36 AM

I think they need more troops and administrators because it sure seems like they are understaffed for the task at hand.

Yes - the US should get out of Iraq as soon as possible.

No - the US can not leave currently.

Is it worth it?
Installing democracy in a country that was previously teaching hate to it's citizens with state controlled television (information).

5 years from now - who knows.
50 years from now - absolutely.

Truth & democracy are infectious.

There can not be global stability if a nation refuses and specifically blocks the opinions (live television) of other nations.

Go ahead and teach your progaganda BUT do not simultaneously block the voice of others or war will result - regardless of the nation. If you teach hate - you will get it - and it's symptoms.

In this instantaneous world - we have some long term problems and issues that must be delt with.

If all you hear is "anti-Americanism" - you will eventually believe it.
The Iraqi people know little of the "hearts & minds" of the rest of the world.

911 initiated a war of information.
A terrorist attack is one which is designed for broadcast (information dissemination) and not a military objective.
